Flip Book

This little book was demo'd somewhere (but I'm sorry, I can't remember where now). I had a friend who needed a little word of encouragement and I found something in a daily readings book that I felt I should pass on....I could have just torn it out of the book and handed it to her but decided to make this instead!

It's not scrapbooking, but...

I just wanted to show off a picture of the cake I made for my 4 year old's birthday! She had a 'princess party' - and this was the centre piece.

Baby Lily Grace

Our new addition, Lily Grace was born on Tuesday 30th September 2008 @ 7.12am. She weighs 7lb 2oz. Big sister Lois is very excited and loves her new sister!!

Made from one sheet of 12"x12" cardstock - here is a little book of quotes for some friends who have recently had a lovely baby boy!

Birthday paper bag book

It was a friend's 30th birthday recently and unfortunately we were unable to make her 70's night party....so, I made this paper bag book for her to put photographs of the evening into (let's hope someone had a camera!!).

UKScrappers Sultry Summer Stash Bash!

UKScrappers is hosting a challenge everyday for August to use up 'stash' (papers, embellishments etc) that we all have plenty of.

Here is my layout for today...... it's a great way to get motivated and scrapping. Wonder what tomorrow will bring?

Journal time

I was asked to make a journal, by a friend, as a gift for someone....so I made two! They haven't seen them yet, so I don't know which one they will choose, but I made sure to take some photos before I forgot!

This one has lined sheets of paper with these pages in between and it was made using my Bind-it-All machine!









The second journal (shown below in the slide show) was again made using my Bind-it-All machine but has a verse on every page/double page and has blank spaces for writing on.

It's a boy!

My friend gave birth last week, 5 weeks early, so I had to quickly make this for her! Using my Bind it All machine, I really enjoyed putting this book together. It's a bit different from some of the other baby albums/books I've made but one of my favourite. I used some papers from Basic Grey's Romani range and some other bits too. I really like rub ons at the moment and some of the Basic Grey ones are lovely!

I took part in the UK Scrappers Cyber Crop which was held recently. It was a great opportunity to get some scrapbooking done as I really hadn't been very productive for some time! Here are some of the results.

My first completed Bind It All project

I had a Bind it All machine for Christmas and have finally managed to put it to use and complete a little project.

I wanted to make something for a friend at Church and decided on a little prayer journal / notebook. Here are the photos. I had some inspiration for the verses and title from this book.

Baby girl paperbag book

I've not done much scrapping in the past few weeks - found out mid January that we are expecting our second baby in September! I've been so tired and feeling quite sick that I've just not had the energy to do any scrapping at all. However, during the past week or so things have improved and a friend having a baby girl has been the incentive to start doing a little bit again. I finished this little book this afternoon and hope she likes it!!
