Is this my last layout of 2007?

I managed to find some time last night to do a quick LO. Photos are from April 2006 (when DD was nearly 18 months old) - someone from my scrapbooking club gave us this little chair - she still uses it now!

Hoping 2008 might provide more time for scrapping.......we'll see!

Faith Journal

As promised - some pictures of the little book I finished last night. Going to give this to a friend - something for her to write notes in, prayer requests, answers to prayer, favourite songs, memories etc.

I've been slack.....

at posting! We've been on holiday.

I've been doing some scrapbooking but haven't photographed it. I have finished a paper bag book faith journal for a friend tonight. I will photograph it tomorrow and upload the pictures.

I've also been working on some notes regarding faithbooking - something I'd like to get into more - and perhaps show to other people.

Off to bed now - it's late. DD has chicken pox at the moment and I need to get some sleep as I'm looking after her all day - fortunately work has given me a week's compassionate leave! I'm so grateful.

My first canvas!

Well, I thought I'd have a go! It sort of evolved over a few evenings and I think I'm happy enough with it to share now. Would love to have another go sometime!

I started with a digi layout (oops! can't remember where I got the digi stuff from - sorry) and then inked and stamped it, went over the lettering with a gel pen and stuck flowers and beads to it.

Album for Nanny's birthday

It was Mark's nan's birthday at the end of July - and since we haven't seen her since Christmas we decided it might be nice to put a few photos of our little girl together for her. I bought an 8x8 K&Co album and filled it with recent photographs using a very simple scrapbooking style. I wanted to just complement the photographs without having a lot of work. I was really pleased with the finished result and the pages can be seen in the slide show.

It's a boy!

Another paper bag book! This time it's to celebrate the birth of a baby boy. My cousin & his wife have just had a baby boy and this is a gift for them.

I have used quotes and poems relating to babies and children - some serious, some funny; with lots of baby embellishments too.
